About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as a member of the client's Fulfillment Center operations. In this vital role, you will support the function of the facility by repairing, maintaining, and continuously improving the functionality of material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve Electrical and Mechanical Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
  • Install, Maintain, and Repair Automated Equipment: Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete Preventative Maintenance Routines: Perform and document preventative maintenance routines to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Track and Store Department Inventory: Manage and track department inventory to ensure accurate records and efficient operations.
  • Cultivate Positive Working Relationships: Foster positive working relationships with RME business partners and Operations Maintenance team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Promote a Safe Working Environment: Adhere to all safety procedures to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
Requirements
  • Applicant Requirements: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year of related experience and/or training.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Higher Degree: Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Apprenticeship or Equivalent Experience: 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • MHE Safety Standards: Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • CMMS Experience: Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Automated Conveyor Systems: 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • Predictive and Preventative Maintenance: 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
