Key Responsibilities
- Production Line Maintenance
- Start and stop production equipment as needed, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
- Perform minor adjustments to equipment as directed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Quality Control
- Accurately complete and update quality reports, machine reports, and downtime reports.
- Recognize and report quality defects immediately, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring continuous smooth operation of equipment.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Collaborate with maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve production problems.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of production lines.
Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines and equipment.
- Skills
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, machinery, and other hazards. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
