Job Summary

The Culinary Events Manager will orchestrate captivating events across all our dining venues, showcasing the exceptional offerings of our department and enhancing student engagement in our dining program. In collaboration with the dining leadership team, the manager will gather insights and propose innovative event concepts. Additionally, they will partner with other campus departments to ensure support and co-participation, creating a vibrant and inclusive community experience.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with departmental leadership and other campus departments to collaborate on events.
  • Develop a comprehensive calendar of events focusing on nutrition and culinary education throughout all dining facilities of Eagle Dining.
  • Maintain thorough documentation regarding event planning, execution, and feedback.
  • Review event feedback and execution, then submit award packets if necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Business and Finance engagement team to promote events.
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Required Experience
  • Experience in Program Planning.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the University System of Georgia and/or Higher Education Institutions.
Proposed Salary

$25.88 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
