Building Evaluation Specialist

This role presents a thrilling opportunity to leverage your skills in building evaluation while discovering new environments.
Position Highlights: This is a fully mobile role where you can operate from nearly any location in the US that is near a major airport, with travel opportunities to various international destinations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections and property condition assessments utilizing mobile inspection and capital planning software.
- Conduct thorough surveys of accessible and visible major building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structure, and foundations.
- Document site and building features with photographic evidence and detailed observations.
- Assess system types, conditions, and significant deficiencies based on visual inspections.
- Gather measurements and quantities to support estimated costs for repairs or replacements.
- Engage with property owners, tenants, and knowledgeable individuals to gather insights about the property.
- Review relevant property records and documentation as necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive property condition assessment reports using asset management software.
- Maintain effective communication with project leads regarding any issues or observations during inspections.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all company policies and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in construction, maintenance, or related fields preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Experience in facility design, building construction, assessments, or maintenance management is desirable.
- Field experience in property condition assessments or related work is essential.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to travel internationally and possess a valid passport.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Teams.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel to client sites, including international locations.
- Physical ability to navigate various building environments safely.
- Must maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
