Work Location: This position will primarily serve the South Zanesville/Roseville/Duncan Falls areas, with potential assignments at other branches as needed.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this role is $13.62, with an expected commitment of 15 hours per week and a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the organization and orderliness of library materials and stacks.
  • Provide general customer service support to library patrons.
  • Make supervisory decisions in the absence of the Customer Service Specialist.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to learn and apply library policies and procedures.
  • Competence in alphabetizing, filing, and performing basic clerical tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with electronic devices, including computers, phones, tablets, and eReaders.
