Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at System One. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, distribution groups, and access control
  • Provide training to end-users on using our systems, hardware, and software
  • Escalate issues to senior technical staff as needed
  • Participate in software and hardware inspections and provide technical recommendations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Tier 1 IT/BIT applications issues
  • Troubleshoot other printers, network issues, and install Windows updates on laptops and desktops
  • Create and deploy PC/laptop images and take backups as needed
  • Replace laptop screens and keyboards as needed
  • Keep track of inventory and spares in the storage room and help move spares to the storage room
  • Document new SOPs related to new workflows for the application needed as per the service desk
  • Research new technologies and solutions that can be applied at the network to improve the level of service delivery and remote technical support
  • Prepare general reports relevant to the job and submit them to superiors
  • Assist in writing technical guides and manuals
  • Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested by superiors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • ITIL Foundation certification, CompTIA A+ certification, and 3+ years of experience in IT/technology domain, preferably in the broadcast industry
  • 4+ years of progressively expert role in IT support services, software, and troubleshooting or related end-user fields
