Job Summary

The Clinical Account Manager will provide detailed, technically complex information to healthcare professionals to facilitate the beneficial therapeutic relationship between the patient, provider, and company. This role will perform training, education, and support to healthcare professionals virtually and face-to-face, using various technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Influence and support high-prescribing CGM physicians, diabetes education nurses, and other healthcare professionals to prescribe Dexcom products to their patients.
  • Train healthcare professionals to use Dexcom products and integrate them into practice.
  • Represent Dexcom at local, regional, and national trade shows and diabetes exhibits to promote Dexcom products to the diabetes community.
  • Provide education on Dexcom products to pharmacies within the assigned territory.
  • Partner with the managed care team, district and territory sales team, and other departments to facilitate territory sales growth.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Required license in one or more fields: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietitian (RD), Physician's Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Direct experience and expertise working with continuous glucose monitoring therapy.
  • Extensive knowledge of diabetes and therapies.
  • Competency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Video conferencing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
