Job Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Development Intern to join our team for a 10-12 week summer internship. As an HR Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field of human resources through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing orientation materials and assisting with training logistics.
  • Help with employee relations activities, including addressing employee inquiries and supporting conflict resolution.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and preparing reports.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs and employee development initiatives.
  • Help with performance management processes, including tracking performance evaluations and assisting with feedback collection.
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives, such as organizing events and surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to human resources.
  • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic project management or organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
