Job SummaryWe are seeking a Human Resources Development Intern to join our team for a 10-12 week summer internship. As an HR Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field of human resources through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing orientation materials and assisting with training logistics.
- Help with employee relations activities, including addressing employee inquiries and supporting conflict resolution.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and preparing reports.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulations.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs and employee development initiatives.
- Help with performance management processes, including tracking performance evaluations and assisting with feedback collection.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities and initiatives, such as organizing events and surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to human resources.
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic project management or organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
