Dental Assistant

Aspen Medical is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Haiti.
Job SummaryThis is a deployed, rotational contract with a 3 month on, 1 month off rotation cycle. The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dental assistance to patients in a field hospital setting
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry standards
- Certificate or Associate's degree as a Dental Assistant from an accredited dental assisting program
- Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) Dental Assistant certification and x-ray certification or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) is highly desired
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Fluency in Haitian Creole and/or French is highly desired
- A competitive fixed daily rate while on rotation
