Role Overview

The Area Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising all sales initiatives and account management within the designated territory. The successful candidate will ensure the quality and consistency of product and service delivery, fostering strong relationships with clients.

Sales Team Dynamics

As a member of our Sales team, you will represent the company to our clients. Our sales professionals are instrumental in driving growth and establishing enduring partnerships. This role requires a proactive individual eager to enhance their skills and build meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and sustain relationships with clients, enhancing their utilization of credit lines, while identifying and addressing account risks and collections.
  2. Focus on expanding the portfolio by processing new dealer applications and ensuring timely follow-ups on leads and referrals.
  3. Meet and exceed performance objectives set by the organization through daily activities, including customer outreach and collaboration with internal teams to optimize revenue and manage risk.
  4. Educate clients on account performance, compliance, and best practices, guiding them to adhere to company standards.
  5. Analyze customer financial data and internal reports to monitor dealer performance and implement strategies for growth and risk management.
  6. Assist the Risk department in pre- and post-default risk mitigation efforts.
  7. Act as a fiduciary for the organization, reporting any significant information or compliance issues that may affect the company.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and activities using company CRM systems.
  9. Foster collaboration across all divisions of the Hankey Group.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  2. Strong financial acumen with familiarity in financial tools and terminology.
  3. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  4. Proficient interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  5. Exceptional time management abilities to meet deadlines.
  6. Strong negotiation and collection capabilities.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  10. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  11. At least two years of experience in finance, sales, account management, or collections.
  12. Willingness to travel as required.
  13. Valid driver's license is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Base salary of $50,000 annually.
  2. Guaranteed bonus income for the initial months, with a structured payout plan.
  3. Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement.
  4. Potential earnings after one year averaging $114,764.
  5. Uncapped commission structure.
