Role Highlights:

This is a full-time, hands-on position focused on supporting the company's landscape services for a diverse clientele, including both public and private sectors. The Landscape Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary administrator for all landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation projects.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and Designers to procure materials, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders for various departments within the company.
  • Conduct reconciliations of purchase orders, invoices, and estimates to maintain accuracy.
  • Verify the completeness of packing slips and receipts.
  • Compile project documentation, including client sub-packets and project books.
  • Process invoices related to job expenses and facilitate payments to vendors.
  • Engage with vendors to gather information on products and services, including pricing and availability.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to assess project needs and negotiate contracts within budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain organized records of procurement activities, including costs and product performance.
  • Work alongside the Facilities Manager to oversee DOT files for employees and fleet management.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is necessary.

Specialized Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and business acumen skills.

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
