About the Role
We're seeking an experienced software engineer with a passion for innovation, data, search, analytics, and distributed systems to join our AWS Incident Prevention team. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security. You will also solve challenging technical problems, often ones not solved before, at every layer of the stack.

As a successful candidate, you will excel in communication, leadership, and customer focus. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of professional software development experience, including programming with at least one software programming language and leading design or architecture of new and existing systems. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is also required. The estimated salary for this position is around $203,400/year.
