Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a dedicated Integrated Master Scheduler to support a critical mission within the Intelligence Community (IC). This role is essential in enhancing national security efforts, contributing to a pioneering program that has been operational for nearly a decade. Project Context

The Skyfire initiative is a sophisticated Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Indications and Warning (I&W) system. Its primary goal is to create a comprehensive database of resident space objects (RSOs), identify objects of interest, and deliver actionable data to ground operators. The Skyfire team, based in Chantilly, VA, leverages sensor modeling and systems engineering expertise to provide this premier SDA I&W system. A minimum of an active TS clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The individual in this role will collaborate with program office stakeholders and partners to ensure high-quality inputs and maintain baseline integrity in accordance with both government and corporate standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team member who can effectively and independently manage timely and precise support of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using MS Project. We are looking for a critical thinker with a strong background in scheduling best practices and compliance, capable of providing insights that facilitate program management decisions.

Essential Qualifications
  • Associates degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience; OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Four (4) years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with MS Project, ideally within a software or systems engineering context.
  • Experience in collaborating with Program leadership, Control Account Managers, and Product Owners to identify project slack and dependencies, as well as to develop, analyze, and manage schedules that align with a program's Statement of Objectives (SOO), Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).
  • Proven track record in establishing and overseeing the execution of program milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.
  • Experience in applying data analytics to streamline technical requirements, establish metrics, and utilize data visualization through various formats and tools.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) project management guidelines to ensure qualitative and quantitative schedule assessments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of management.
  • This position mandates the candidate to possess a minimum of Top Secret clearance with the capability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph as required by the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira or similar tracking systems.
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience working with Agile scrum teams, agile project management, and agile software development.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, application planning, and deployment.
