SAIC is seeking a Ground Systems Integration Engineer to support a program that procures satellite vehicles with associated ground segments. The ground segment consists of ground command and control (C2) software & hardware, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and virtualized technologies.

This position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph. In this role, you will support major program acquisitions and act as the primary support to the development branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support major program acquisitions
  • Act as primary support to the development branch
  • Evaluate proposals, budgets, and master schedules
  • Experience with ground segment of space program office
  • Experience with activities involving hardware and software integration
  • Experience in request for change (RFC) processes
  • Understanding of requirements validation and verification methods
  • Experience in ground architecture design
  • Experience in risk management planning and mitigation
  • Ability to travel overseas

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 14 years or more experience; Master's degree and 12 years or more experience; PhD and 9 years or more experience
