Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Take orders and provide excellent customer service to guests.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure all liquor, beer, and wine products are stored safely and securely.
  • Assist with recipe batching, ice molding, and other bar-related tasks.
  • Verify customer identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
  • Act as a cashier for servers when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including disposing of waste, clearing and cleaning glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas.
  • Assist servers, other bartenders, and barbacks as needed.
  • Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet.
  • Operate a cash register and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counting and providing change as required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
  • Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required.
  • California RBS Certification.
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • One to three years high volume bar experience required.
Working Conditions

The Bartender will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. The position requires standing and exerting well-paced mobility for up to four hours in length, as well as lifting up to 45 pounds as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be knowledgeable about basic computer skills and have a strong attention to detail.
