Bartender Job Description

Napa LW Hospitality is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Charlie Palmer Steak Napa. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while serving cocktails, liquor, and other beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and greet guests promptly, ensuring a positive atmosphere.
• Verify ID and age of guests when necessary.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Record and balance receipts properly, closing all checks daily.
• Communicate allergy and dietary restriction information when applicable.
• Maintain pre-batched cocktails, liquor inventory, wine inventory, and bar supplies.
• Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere.
• Comply with certification requirements, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers.
