Beverage Service Standards

Silverado Resort and Spa is seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional service to our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage service, including the preparation and presentation of cocktails, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the storage and handling of liquor, supplies, and equipment.
• Follow prescribed procedures for serving liquor and handling intoxicated guests.
• Have a thorough understanding of the food menu and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Set up the bar according to resort standards and ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Break down the bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment according to resort standards.
• Follow all state liquor laws and resort policies.

Requirements

• Experience in bartending is required.
• Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Working Conditions

• Long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
• Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
