Your Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will be responsible for designing hardware and programming software for HVAC control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications. You will provide detailed documentation and submittals to effectively communicate design and operational details to clients, consultants, and installation teams.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Selecting hardware designs from our standard library for flow diagrams, operational sequences, material lists, network layouts, and electrical schematics.
  • Programming software based on established design standards.
  • Coordinating the preparation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for project submittals and installations.
  • Ordering and tracking materials for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assisting in the loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers.
  • Validating complete system functionality and troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
  • Documenting field changes and creating as-built drawings and software.
  • Keeping management informed of project progress and any arising issues.
  • Providing site-specific training for owners/operators on system operations.
  • Completing necessary paperwork, including time sheets and expense reports.
  • Adhering to safety standards with a strong focus on the safety of all personnel involved.

What We Seek:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Experience in installing and/or commissioning control systems, or in designing or evaluating mechanical/electrical building systems.
