Your Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of experienced professionals and adhering to established protocols, you will be responsible for the design and programming of hardware and software for HVAC control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications.

Key tasks include:

  • Providing comprehensive documentation and submissions to effectively communicate design intent and operational details to clients, consultants, and installation teams.
  • Responding to basic warranty inquiries.
  • Selecting hardware designs from the standard library for flow diagrams, operational sequences, material lists, network configurations, and electrical schematics as needed.
  • Executing software programming based on established design standards.
  • Coordinating the preparation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submissions and installations.
  • Ordering and tracking project materials.
  • Facilitating factory-mounting processes to align with project timelines.
  • Assisting in the loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers.
  • Validating complete system functionality and troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
  • Documenting field changes and creating as-built drawings and software.
  • Maintaining communication with management and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
  • Conducting site-specific training for system operators.
  • Completing necessary administrative tasks, including time sheets and expense reports.
  • Upholding safety standards and prioritizing the well-being of employees and subcontractors.

What We Seek:
Required: Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, along with demonstrated technical proficiency.

Preferred: An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (5+ years) in the HVAC industry. Experience in installing or commissioning control systems or evaluating mechanical/electrical building systems is advantageous.
