Position Overview:

As the Lead Specialist in Equipment Management, you will be an integral member of the Packaging Team in Brewery Operations. Your primary focus will be on driving effective problem-solving, fostering innovation, and enhancing processes related to equipment, technology, and operational assets. You will offer your expertise in asset management, ensuring machine availability, reliability, and optimal performance. This role is also pivotal in leading efforts to ensure the effective functioning and reliability of brewery assets and processes.

Your leadership will guide the Equipment Specialist Team towards achieving a high-performance culture while spearheading change management initiatives aimed at continuously improving plant and process operations to meet World Class Operations Standards.

This position will report to the Asset Care Manager-Packaging and will collaborate closely with maintenance leads, process leads, line leads, skilled trades, and packaging operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 20 skilled colleagues and indirectly oversee an additional 10 colleagues, supporting their professional growth through regular career discussions and one-on-one meetings.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of brewery equipment and processes.
  • Enhance the reliability of packaging equipment.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on equipment and process optimization.
  • Support the implementation of asset management strategies.
  • Oversee designated capital and expense projects from inception to completion.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor equipment specialists to enhance their expertise and ownership of equipment maintenance and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • You have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, along with an advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management, or Engineering.
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Certification as a Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
  • You have demonstrated success in driving World Class Supply Initiatives to achieve challenging objectives.
