Job Summary

St. David's Medical Center is seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including adult echocardiography, TEEs, and pharmacologic/exercise cardiac stress testing.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and indirect patient care, diagnostic tests, and procedures.
  • Maintain professional standards and seek professional growth.
  • Provide care to patients ranging from neonatal to geriatrics.
  • Reflect the company's values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct.
  • Execute SDH Service Excellence standards in every interaction.
  • Participate in providing continuous echocardiography service, including taking call, responding to pages, and arriving within 30 minutes of STAT notification.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe environment.
  • Participate in unit activities and meet educational requirements.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree and successful completion of an accredited cardiac sonography program.
  • One year minimum experience as a Sonographer or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing all aspects of adult/pediatric echocardiography procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to precept new employees and employees not meeting expectations.
