Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care services in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing and implementing plans for patient care services, and overseeing the overall diagnostic imaging policies and procedures for several departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations and develop plans for patient care services in the radiology department
  • Plan and implement diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for multiple departments
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments
  • Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution
  • Oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as Joint Commission, ACR, JRCERT, ICAVL, and other regulatory agencies
  • Maintain established productivity standards and supply expense metrics
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date
  • One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Vascular Specialist, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer
  • Nuclear Medical Tech certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Medical Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience, or 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
