Job Overview

Position Title: Production Management Assistant

Department: Production

Reports To: Process Manager, Equipment Manager, or Quality Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Role Summary:

The Production Management Assistant serves as the administrative backbone for various aspects of the production process, providing essential support to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the daily oversight of the production department to ensure the completion of production objectives.
  2. Facilitate team meetings as necessary.
  3. Monitor and address departmental challenges.
  4. Offer translation support between management and production staff as required.
  5. Organize and implement necessary training for new hires and on-the-job training.
  6. Conduct and document regular cross-training sessions with other departments as needed.
  7. Maintain ongoing communication with Human Resources, Administration, and other departments to ensure operational efficiency and enhance collaboration.
  8. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Essential Skills:

  • Preference for candidates with experience in quality assurance, production management, equipment maintenance, or related manufacturing fields.
  • Strong professional communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
  • Willingness to enhance skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Capacity to quickly acquire necessary skills, including basic office equipment and specific company software.

Work Environment:

The position is situated in enclosed office spaces and on the production floor.

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands include regular walking, standing, reaching, and sitting; ability to communicate verbally and audibly; capability to visually discern product color and shading variations; lifting objects; entering data via keyboard; and manual dexterity for handling tasks.
