JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager's primary role is to engage in training experiences, acquire new skills, and demonstrate growing proficiency and expertise in managerial duties.

The Assistant Manager trainee program is structured to prepare high-potential employees in the domains of personnel and operations management.

Under the mentorship of a seasoned manager, Assistant Managers will be involved in crucial business areas including employee relations, customer engagement, and financial oversight.


JOB DUTIES
People

Under the mentorship of a seasoned manager, Assistant Managers will take part in all employee-related management functions such as interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and motivating, as well as performance management, conflict resolution, and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives.


By gaining hands-on experience in these areas, Assistant Managers will cultivate people and management skills to prepare them for future leadership roles.

Assistant Managers are expected to serve as role models for customer service and set the standard for service excellence for all employees.

Operations


Assistant Managers will familiarize themselves with all operational procedures within the theater and will train, supervise, and coach others on these same operational procedures.

Additional responsibilities will include managing banking transactions, completing daily paperwork, and preparing company reports.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Full-service restaurant background
  • SERV Safe & Food Handler's certification required
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
  • The Assistant Manager position requires standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and traversing stairs on a frequent basis
