  6. Track shipping timelines and address any complications related to delays or damages during transportation.
  7. Review logistics processes for potential efficiency gains; propose modifications that boost productivity and lower expenses.
  8. Promote a safety-oriented culture within the logistics team by adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  9. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations concerning transportation, safety, and environmental issues.
  10. Generate reports on logistics performance metrics for management review; identify trends or areas requiring improvement.
  11. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Authority and Permissions

Possesses approval authority for various departmental processes, including purchase requisitions and vendor authorizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software).

Skills and Competencies

  • Outstanding communication abilities and capacity to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively while working under pressure.
  • Proficient in logistics software applications for tracking shipments and managing inventory.

Work Environment

The position involves working in office settings and on the production floor.

Physical Requirements

Physical demands include sitting at a desk, using a computer, walking, standing, and reaching regularly; ability to speak and hear; visual acuity to detect product color and shading variations; entering data via keyboard; and manual dexterity for handling tasks.
