About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team as a Mobile Ultrasound Technologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients in various service locations, including private residences, skilled nursing homes, and correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to various service locations to perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrate competency in the performance of portable ultrasound studies based on established company and industry protocols.
  • Perform sonographic examinations as ordered by the ordering physician.
  • Prepare preliminary technologist's worksheets and communicate them to reading radiologists.
  • Complete all forms and maintain records, visits logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
  • Upload all required documents into company systems according to company protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as directed by management or Service Department personnel.
  • Take good care of the company vehicle and ensure it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
  • Credentialed in medical sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
