About the Role

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Grants Coordinator to join our team in St. Paul, MN. As a key member of our Vascular Division, you will play a critical role in helping people with heart failure manage their health and ultimately change and save lives.

As a Grants Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective grant administration support to our office. This includes assisting with grant cycles, reviewing and processing grant applications, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with our Grants Team to ensure seamless workflow and effective grant management. Your expertise in grant management databases, such as Blackbaud or GPAS, will be essential in managing grant and donation requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with grant cycles, including application and due-diligence, review and decision, notification and follow-up
  • Contribute to Grant Leadership and/or Grant Review Committee decision-making process
  • Provide support for all aspects of the Patient Assistance Product Donations program
  • Front-line customer service, answering phone and replying to email inquiries
  • Actively participate in grant team meetings
  • Work independently, exhibiting critical thinking skills and collaborating with a team
  • Assist with grant tracking, budget reconciliations, and Sunshine Act reporting
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grant management or a related field
  • MS Office suite and MS Teams proficiency
  • Expert-level business communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Grant management database experience, including Blackbaud SKY or GPAS
  • Accounts Payable (CONCUR Invoice) and budgeting experience
