Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong understanding of medical terminology.

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting patients with their medical equipment needs
  • Communicating with patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers
  • Processing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing technical assistance and support to patients
Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting with updating respiratory grids
  • Clearing previous day's routes and checking paperwork for accuracy
  • Communicating with patients and referral sources
  • Completing SOPs/CMNs and documenting on tracking logs
  • Complying with all applicable company policies and procedures
  • Coordinating patient information and processing paperwork
  • Maintaining referral logs and monitoring office supplies
  • Preparing deposits and invoices for locations
  • Providing service for retail/walk-in equipment requests
  • Verifying Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information
  • Working with outside agencies to resolve customer issues
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with medical equipment, medical billing practices, and administrative record management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
