Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Veterans Canteen Service. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our patrons, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process cash transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and coupons.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and ensuring that all merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Assist with inventory control, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct customer service experience.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
