Job Title: Field Service Engineer II

Are you a skilled technical professional looking for a challenging role in the semiconductor industry? We are seeking a Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Applied Materials.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer II to provide technical support and maintenance services for our customers' equipment. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading our customers' equipment, as well as providing technical assistance and troubleshooting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain equipment at customer sites
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting services to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science)
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical field (e.g. semiconductor industry, equipment support)
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
