As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading our cutting-edge equipment at customer sites around the globe. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their production systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain our equipment at customer sites, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve technical issues and provide expert support.
  • Document all work activities, including maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions.
  • Represent Applied Materials professionally and maintain a positive image of the company.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in a variety of environments, including clean rooms.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including international travel.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
