Job Overview

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Creative Employment Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and repair building systems: Ensure the internal and external facilities are well-maintained, including manufacturing and warehouse areas.
  2. Equipment maintenance and repair: Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including cranes, air compressors, dock doors, fabrication, racking, floor cleaners, and forklifts.
  3. Electrical and pneumatic work: Perform electrical and air/pneumatic work as required.
  4. Manage external services: Coordinate with external service providers, including machine maintenance repair companies and general building maintenance services.
  5. Compressed air leak repair: Identify and repair compressed air leaks to minimize downtime.
  6. Tool maintenance program: Maintain and improve the tool maintenance program to ensure all tooling is in good condition and its lifespan is extended where possible.
  7. Maintenance spare parts inventory: Maintain and improve the inventory of maintenance spare parts to minimize downtime.
  8. Prioritize maintenance requests: Prioritize maintenance requests to ensure critical tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  9. Plant asset register: Support the maintenance of the plant asset register to ensure accurate records.
  10. Training and development: Provide training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to promote a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  12. Participate in Kaizens: Participate in and lead Kaizens to reduce downtime and increase uptime.
  13. Support to other departments: Provide support to Manufacturing Engineering, Safety, and new area development.
  14. Compliance: Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, incident management, and reporting.
