Position Summary:
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of various equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, managing technical documentation, and overseeing spare parts inventory. Additionally, the role involves calibrating machinery and conducting minor maintenance tasks within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, utilizing manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery to maintain optimal performance.
- Modify equipment and facilities for specialized applications.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Utilize provided tools to perform all necessary tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Proficient in using basic tools, torque wrenches, impact tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Willingness to undergo further training for mobile equipment and safety protocols.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with GD&T.
- Ability to interpret basic blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience with HVAC systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using cutting torches and basic welding techniques.
