Position Summary

The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in managing the logistics of Oshkosh equipment within our facilities. This position involves troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure the efficient transfer of equipment from delivery trucks to our operational area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of material handling and industrial equipment, gaining hands-on experience in machine repair and calibration.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Prepare machines for repair assessments by cleaning and organizing them prior to entering the workshop.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of equipment repair and maintenance practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with web-based applications.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Working Conditions:

This role involves physical demands such as standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent walking. The environment may include exposure to dust, temperature extremes, and loud noises.
