Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provides oversight and operational guidance to team members.
    • Acts as a subject matter expert and mentor, assisting staff with problem-solving and critical thinking.
    • Ensures that employees receive the necessary training to fulfill their job responsibilities while adhering to compliance standards.
    • Delivers on-the-job training and suggests corrective actions to management when needed.
    • Proposes improvements to workflows and procedures based on observations.
    • Offers immediate feedback and recognition while supervising on the floor.
    • Addresses policy compliance issues with staff and communicates with management for further action.
    • Provides insights to management to support effective performance evaluations and coaching.
  2. Responsible for optimizing patient flow by coordinating front and back office operations and ancillary services.
    • Serves as a Patient Flow Coordinator, consistently monitoring patient movement.
    • Maintains a physical presence on the floor to ensure adherence to operational workflows and a focus on exceptional customer service.
    • Utilizes performance metrics to ensure appropriate staffing levels based on real-time patient flow, aiming to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction.
    • Adjusts staffing in real-time according to operational demands.
    • Facilitates communication between front and back office to support patient throughput.
    • Validates appointment scrubbing to ensure patient readiness.
    • Assists with initial and annual skills assessments for staff.
  3. Conducts regular floor rounds to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
    • Identifies workflow challenges in real-time and reports trends to management.
    • Ensures completion of daily, weekly, and monthly quality control measures.
    • Confirms that sterilization processes are performed daily and that necessary instruments are available for patient care.
    • Ensures timely completion of in-house medication inventories and availability for patient needs.
    • Oversees the ordering and stocking of supplies, medications, forms, and equipment.
    • Ensures completion of monthly examination room checklists.
  4. Assists in resolving patient complaints by providing viable solutions.
  5. Performs additional duties as assigned.

  2. Two years of progressive professional experience demonstrating increased responsibility and leadership contributions.
Technical Skills:
  1. Proficient in creating complex documents in Microsoft Word, including tables and charts.
  2. Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas and functions.
  3. Adept at developing sophisticated presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Licenses & Certifications:
  1. Must possess Medical Assistant or LVN Certification.
Communications Skills:
  1. Ability to effectively communicate findings and analyses both verbally and in writing.
  2. Responsible for resolving conflicts that may arise among staff or with clients.
  3. Compiles and prepares information in a clear written format, including reports and documentation.
  4. Effectively conveys technical information to non-technical audiences.

Minimum Hourly Rate: $24.77

Maximum Hourly Rate: $34.18
