Position Overview: As a vital member of the field operations team, you will be tasked with gathering, assessing, and coordinating essential information to facilitate the construction process in alignment with contractual obligations. Your role will ensure that all work adheres to safety protocols, meets project timelines, and is executed with the utmost quality.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Project Superintendent or designated Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct line and grade assessments for accurate building layout and control as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of site safety initiatives as required.
  • Monitor subcontractor adherence to Turner safety standards and relevant safety regulations.
  • Assist in the upkeep of contract documents and electronic records for field operations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR's).
  • Evaluate ongoing work to ensure it aligns with accepted tolerances.
  • Examine contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
  • Aid in the creation of project as-built documentation.
  • Promote and protect the interests of Turner in all related matters.
  • Engage in additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of two years of college education from an accredited program in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Experience in building construction, engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, data entry, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling software is desirable.

The noise level in these environments is usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to comply with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
