Position Overview: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to become a vital part of our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients.
  • Implement feedback from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to maintain program fidelity.
  • Teach and reinforce socially appropriate behaviors.
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to children diagnosed with Autism and related conditions.
  • Communicate client progress effectively with supervising BCBAs.
  • Facilitate transportation for activities as outlined in treatment plans when necessary.
  • Collect and record behavioral data as specified in client support plans.
  • Execute behavior therapy techniques as directed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist.
  • Collaborate with the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to review data and strategize program enhancements.
  • Document interventions and progress towards client goals accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in developing instructional materials.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and responsibility when working with multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Participate in various training sessions and relevant meetings.
  • Exhibit a genuine desire to work with children facing autism and other developmental challenges.
  • Maintain a clear criminal background check.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing aggressive and self-injurious behaviors is essential.
  • Certification as a Behavior Technician or registration to take the RBT exam is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, legal resident, or possess valid employment authorization.
  • Certification in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid is required or willingness to obtain these certifications.
  • A high school diploma is mandatory.
  • Preferred: One year of experience working with children with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset is essential.
  • CPR/BLS certification is required or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Current TB clearance is necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Must maintain a clear criminal background check.
