Job Overview

Corner Alliance is a vibrant consulting firm dedicated to enhancing the employee experience while delivering impactful results for government clients. We are currently in search of a Public Relations Subject Matter Expert with over 5 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary:

As the Public Relations SME, you will spearhead strategic communication initiatives for biometric identity services, playing a pivotal role in shaping public relations strategies and developing multimedia content. Your expertise will ensure that communication efforts are aligned with the overarching mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of public relations and strategic communication initiatives related to biometric identity services, ensuring alignment with mission-critical goals.
  • Design and implement comprehensive communication and public affairs strategies, including tailored messaging for diverse audiences, presentations, and digital content.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate public relations strategies, prepare key talking points, and support high-profile events such as conferences and media engagements.
  • Oversee the creation of both print and digital content, including press releases, fact sheets, and social media updates.
  • Act as a liaison between government stakeholders and the contractor team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical and managerial leadership on public affairs projects, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet government standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, particularly in support of government programs.
  • Strong proficiency in creating multimedia content for various platforms, including press releases and social media.
  • Comprehensive understanding of government communication protocols, especially concerning biometric identity services.
  • Experience collaborating with interagency and intergovernmental stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-impact communication projects.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) access.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with DHS Public Affairs Office procedures and protocols.
