Position Overview:

The Research and Technology Protection (RTP) team at Teksky LLC is dedicated to offering specialized knowledge in the realm of security classification and evaluation of classified and controlled unclassified information. This includes sensitive but unclassified information related to GEOINT initiatives and the development of program tools. The RTP process is essential for identifying and protecting both technical and programmatic information from inception to transition to mission partners. It plays a crucial role in analyzing information and processes to ensure the safeguarding of U.S. Government, National Security, and Intelligence Community interests against unauthorized disclosures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive system security analyses and risk assessments to support the RTP mission.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of threats facing NGA Research programs.
  • Identify potential vulnerabilities within programs that may be susceptible to exploitation.
  • Evaluate the consequences of losing critical NGA R&D information.
  • Perform holistic security risk assessments for research initiatives.
  • Offer insights on the advantages and disadvantages of proposed risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the formulation of technical and procedural security classification guidelines for new concepts developed by various teams.
  • Create tailored classification protocols for innovative GEOINT tool development and specialized handling instructions for Intelligence materials.
  • Provide expert guidance on the protection of classified information, classification management, special security, industrial security, and security training.
  • Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to identify export-controlled and ITAR-restricted technologies under development.
  • Deliver briefings and support the NGA Research workforce in understanding evolving security policies and guidance.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) and social network analysis to uncover threats and vulnerabilities within supply chains and networks.
  • Assess the capabilities and maturity of the technology and manufacturing ecosystem, including domestic and foreign supplier bases.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • TS/SCI Clearance and Polygraph are mandatory
  • Experience with NGA is preferred
  • Possession of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) is required
  • Security Program Integration Professional Certificate (SPIPC) is advantageous
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) is beneficial
  • A Master's or PhD degree is required
