Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and design of products from the initial discovery phase through to deployment and launch.
- Drive and coordinate project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers on product design initiatives.
- Oversee external activities, including regulatory and third-party testing.
- Manage multiple teams to ensure successful product launches, adhering to market specifications from design to prototype to production.
- Apply specialized technical knowledge to various projects.
- Maintain a portfolio of projects, ensuring they remain on schedule and addressing any obstacles that arise.
- Contribute to the creation of product roadmaps.
- Monitor project portfolio KPIs.
- Continuously seek improvements in project processes to shorten product development cycles.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management or team leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for managing backlogs, tracking progress, and reporting is advantageous.
- Ability to guide teams effectively to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and effectiveness.
- Foster a team environment characterized by open communication, problem identification, and resolution.
- Encourage knowledge sharing to enhance the technical expertise of staff and support operational adaptability.
Travel Requirements
- Approximately 10% domestic travel may be required, with potential for international travel.
