Job Title: Regional Warehouse Manager

Metronet is seeking a highly skilled Regional Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage our supply chain operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouses, including planning, monitoring, and managing teams to achieve continuous improvement of processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage teams supporting the supply chain and warehousing operations
  • Assist in the planning and execution of warehouse operations and cross-functional team members
  • Ensure departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement of processes
  • Communicate to senior management supply chain and service issues with short- and long-term recommendations on resolution
  • Train, coach, and evaluate remote warehouse teams
  • Implement new strategies and initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency
  • Manage hourly employees through supervisors in manufacturing, distribution, or office environments
  • Maintain daily contact with direct reports and understand current warehouse state
  • Use remote solutions such as video conferencing to maintain contact regularly
  • Resolve daily supply chain issues and analyze, resolve, or escalate inventory issues for correct inventory levels in remote warehouses
  • Assure remote workers check out inventory on a regular basis
  • Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and operations in remote cities
  • Determine improvements in remote warehousing
  • Provide leadership to help teams develop skills and meet goals
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures
  • Implement new strategies and initiatives
  • Travel up to 70% to Metronet warehouses to support onsite teams and associates
  • Train, coach, and evaluate logistical teams
  • Assist logistics coordinators, warehouse specialists, and other team members
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • +5 years' experience in logistics and warehousing, including warehouse layout, design, and TMS/WMS applications
  • Documented experience in a leadership position within a warehouse operation
  • Proven leadership skills with remote teams that encourage, build, and develop
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to coach and correct
  • Six Sigma / Lean experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
