About the Role:

Fuchs Lubricants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Operations leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing a safe and compliant work environment, developing site personnel for career growth, and motivating site personnel to achieve business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the vision and cultural tone for the site, engaging and empowering personnel to meet site objectives and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Develop and deploy the site strategy in coordination with the regional business strategy, establishing site priorities and allocating resources to complete key initiatives.
  • Ensure site safety, environmental responsibility, and compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Develop organizational plans, coach and mentor personnel to support their professional growth, and create business value.
  • Establish and maintain resource plans to optimize the use of available equipment and personnel resources.
  • Influence beyond the site in areas such as strategic planning, decision making, priority setting, and corporate peers.
  • Establish and manage site budgets and ongoing spend forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field of study.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a chemical plant and batch manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to engage, empower, and motivate employees to drive business results.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of end-to-end supply chains.
  • Proven ability to identify, drive, and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with applicable EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with ISO management systems.
  • 3+ years' experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
