Position Title:
Healthcare Support Specialist

Reporting to:
Clinic Operations Manager

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (7:30am-4pm)

As a vital member of Tia's healthcare team, you will engage in essential administrative and clinical functions to ensure the clinic operates efficiently.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass patient intake, gathering health information, communicating with patients, maintaining room readiness throughout the day, overseeing supply inventory, and assisting with sample collection and preparation. Additionally, you will manage front office tasks, including appointment scheduling and billing, as needed.

You will also receive training as a Front Desk Coordinator.

Phlebotomy Responsibilities:
- Review patient health summaries to verify accuracy
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare staff and providers to ensure smooth clinic operations

- Notify providers of any delays or clinic congestion
- Conduct a nightly review of the upcoming schedule and brief providers accordingly

- Familiarize yourself with the health records of patients scheduled for the next day to ensure thorough preparation
- Capture and communicate the unique needs of each patient to enhance their care experience

- Perform phlebotomy as required

- Adhere to established clinical guidelines for phlebotomy

- Follow the lab review protocols set by the Medical Director
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic
