Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage the recruitment processes for the designated location, including conducting interviews, extending job offers, and handling terminations and promotions. Collaborate with external partners such as educational institutions and staffing agencies to attract candidates.
  2. Foster and promote a positive workplace culture.
  3. Coordinate with supervisors to conduct employee evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days, as well as annual reviews, providing necessary feedback.
  4. Maintain accurate timekeeping records and monitor employee attendance.
  5. Document and track all performance-related actions taken at the site, offering guidance to supervisors on corrective measures and performance management.
  6. Participate in safety committees and contribute to safety initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, maintaining injury logs and managing injury reports accurately.
  8. Facilitate training sessions on safety protocols and ensure employees are informed about necessary compliance measures.
  9. Administer FMLA and disability paperwork, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  10. Handle sensitive medical information related to workers' compensation and employee records.
  11. Advise management on resolving employee relations issues and maintain communication with HR leadership regarding any concerns.
  12. Organize and lead benefits meetings, assisting new hires with enrollment and addressing any questions regarding benefits.
  13. Serve as a resource for resolving HR-related inquiries and issues.
  14. Participate in compensation analysis and develop new job descriptions as required.
  15. Oversee the annual performance review process for staff.
  16. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is necessary.
  • Ability to make informed decisions on sensitive issues is required.
  • Experience in data analysis and report generation is important.
  • Familiarity with payroll policies and benefits administration is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with diverse groups are necessary.
  • Capability to develop and implement strategic goals is essential.

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Shift: Daytime hours.
