About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Management Officer to join our team at the Hispanic Technology Executive Council. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of risk management strategies across our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations and risk management frameworks to identify areas for improvement and implement effective controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk management processes and procedures that align with our business objectives.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and auditors, to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, audit, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to understand complex business processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate risk management strategies and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
