Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in payroll, finance, and/or HR.
  • Experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, practices, and theories in payroll operations and complex transaction processing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Robust analytical skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience using payroll system software, preferably SAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Payroll experience in a Higher Education environment.
  • Experience with Cognos, SAP, or Brio query tools.
  • Experience implementing projects for payroll services improvements.
  • MIT experience.
