Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at United Health Services. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy to patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for nutritional risk and respond to nutrition consults as ordered by providers and the healthcare team.
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy for disease prevention and management to produce positive patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree from an accredited dietetics program.
  • Successful completion of a supervised practice program for nutrition.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Ability to obtain NYS certification as a dietitian-nutritionist (CDN) within 1 year of hire.
