About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based network solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based network architectures, including routing and switching technologies
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network improvements and optimizations
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry standards, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our network solutions
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in implementing and integrating information systems, including routing and switching technologies
  • Experience troubleshooting network systems and making improvements to the network
  • Experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network solutions
  • Experience with Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and F5 network appliances
  • Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, automating system configurations, and orchestrating network operations
  • Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, including AWS specific services such as Transit Gateway and VPC
  • Ability to collaborate with other engineering teams
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in CS or EE
  • AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect, Security Specialty, or Advanced Networking Certification
  • CCNA, CCNA Security, CompTIA Network+, or CCA-N Certification
