We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and visitors, ensuring a positive impression of our organization.
- Assist patients and their families in accessing services, acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.
- Perform pre-admitting, admitting, and registering tasks, routing or escorting patients, family, or visitors as needed.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One year (1) or more of prior relevant experience in a medical/clinical/dental/hospital setting or customer service setting.
- One (1) year Patient Access experience
- One (1) year Customer Service experience
- Data Entry experience
- Familiarity with Health Plans/Insurances
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
