- Pre-Registration: Communicate with patients, physicians, and third-party payers to obtain necessary information for pre-registration, including insurance verification and authorization.
- Registration: Collect and analyze demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data for each patient, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring that patients understand their financial obligations.
- Financial Counseling: Provide patients with financial assistance applications and information, ensuring that they understand their options and responsibilities.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Two years of related work experience preferred, preferably in healthcare or customer service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
